Install wiring through the LESSCO® Box into electrical box.

  1. Attach the LESSCO® Air-Vapor Barrier Box to the wall or ceiling framing member.
    • If the nailing configuration or size of the electrical box requires, cut the top and bottom of the new, improved LESSCO® Box where indicated. This allows the hinge action to take place. Then attach the LESSCO® Box as in step one.
  2. Install standard electrical box inside of the LESSCO® Box.
    • NOTE: Steps #1 and #2 can be accomplished simultaneously by holding electrical box inside LESSCO® Box, then attaching electrical box to framing member.
    • If the hinge action is being used, simply swing the outward portion of theLESSCO® Box away to provide more room to attach the electrical box.
  3. Make a small cut for wiring where indicated on the top or bottom of the LESSCO® Box. Make only one small cut for each wire. DO NOT make one large hole for 3 or 4 wires.
  4. Install wiring through the LESSCO® Box into electrical box. Complete wiring as usual.
    • If the hinge feature is being used, DO NOT run the wire through the opening created by the cut made for the hinge option.
